On the 6th of March 2021, this little orphaned Serval cat was almost killed by domestic dogs in a private garden in Arusha’s outskirts, as the cat had got into their garden and tried to hide in a compost heap. It was literally skin and bones.
The Kilimanjaro Animal CREW came to the rescue and the kitten proved to be a little girl. She was dewormed, the very numerous ticks were taken off and her ear mites were treated. She was estimated to not be older than 3 months. Since she was seriously dehydrated, she was put onto a drip. This cat was on death’s door!
