In February 2020, Kilimanjaro Animal CREW held a workshop at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCAA) about rescue, caretaking of rehabilitated animals and medical training.
We organised a program for two days, consisting of training, presentations and lectures for 25 NCAA officers and rangers. We were proud to also have rhino specialists from South Africa present for this. The workshop was concluded with an operation of the NCAA captured male lion which resulted in the diagnosis of a hernia.
