What an exciting day for Meing’ataki!! His great progress made it possible to send him out with the rest of the herd FOR THE FIRST TIME!! Even though he only spends a couple of hours in the bush to make sure that he doesn’t get exhausted, this is an important step towards recovery as spending time with the new siblings, exploring the area and doing elephant stuff is not only crucial for his physical health but it is vital for good spirits!
