Long crested Eagle Crissy

His story

In September 2020, this beautiful bird flew into powerlines outside of Moshi and got electrocuted. Luckily, a person walked by and found him. As the eagle was no longer able to move, he promptly put him in his car and drove Crissy to the KiliCREW. Crissy’s condition was very critical when he arrived. As typical with electrocutions, he lost one of his wings in the end, but the vets managed to save both of his feet. He will never be able to fly again and therefore and therefore cannot be released back into the wild.
